The stork lives in the neighborhood, in an abandoned train station. In summer its shadow travels around streets and squares. The stork flies over the games of the children and Sunday walking. When the old man observes it, he travels back in time. He remembers the town where he lived as a child, the little church with the nest on the spire. In the spring it seems to bring the sun to the neighborhood, the sun from warm latitudes from which the stork returns. In the imagination of the child, the bird returns from an exotic and mysterious place, which only he knows through reading the stories.
