A schoolbook label announces "Things I wrote down in a notebook". Next, an explosion of colour. Such is the beginning of the great little trip that will join together Laura Wittner's deliberate distractions and Ana Paula Méndez's drawings. Laura invites us to watch the world with her for a while. Her eyes, wild though precise, linger over those details most of us overlook: the smooth stroke of a pen, a "silly" fly who can't seem to find the open windows, delicious feasts to be eaten through smell, spinach alfajores, a blackout sky, namesake cats, the extravagance of an artichoke and the pigeon's right to perch on balconies –among other beautiful things.
