Ana G. Lartitegui is an illustrator whose first illustrated book was published in 1989, since then she has been working as a children’s books illustrator and scholar. She coordinates the Círculo Hexágono, a study group and its short essay collection in Zaragoza, Spain, as well as the monographic magazine Fuera [de] Margen. With A buen paso she has published El libro de la suerte, Euskadi Prize for Illustration 2015. Ana G. Lartitegui published her first picture book in 1989, and since then se has devoted herself to children’s picture books, illustrating them but also studying them. She writes articles in specialized media, publishes conferences and has been curator of quite a few exhibitions. She coordinates the studying group called Círculo Hexágonoi and the short essay collection that this group produces, she is the chief editor of the magazine Fuera [de] Margen on behald of Pantalia Publicaciones. Meanwhile she keeps on writing (she wrote and illustrated the book No se lo digas a nadie, Edelvives, 2003) and illustrating books mainly written by Sergio Lairla (El ciempiés metepatas, Anaya, 1993, Mention at the Latin American Illustration Prize, 1994; El charco del príncipe Andreas, 1996, SM, Honor List, CEEI Illustration Prizes, 1996; La carta de la señora González, 2000, Fondo de Cultura Económica, Best book at the International children and teenagers Mexico Bookfair, 2000).
