When Julie Tucker and Jennifer Elias met over a glass of wine, the idea for their first project came in a burst of Cabernet-induced creativity—WineSmarts—and SmartsCo was born. Since 2002, the company has created engaging products based on life’s greatest pleasures—wine, food, chocolate, sex, beer, babies, dogs and more.
SmartsCo was acquired in 2009 by NMR/Aquarius, an American distributor that plans on developing SmartsCo’s products on a greater scale.
